We keep two carts of snacks and drinks stocked on the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology floor at Prisma Main Campus. These carts are available any time a child, caregiver, or team member needs refreshment. This is especially important as chemo destroys the taste buds of these little fighters. So having a variety of sweet or salty snacks can be just what they need. It also allows caregivers to stay in the room or on the floor and not have to find the nearest vending machine.
